Software developer based in Cheyenne, Wyoming — passionate about collaboration, complex problem-solving, and building reliable systems that make a difference.
Who I Am
I'm a software developer based in Cheyenne, Wyoming with a B.S. in Computer Science from the University of Wyoming. I'm driven by the challenge of solving complex problems — the harder the puzzle, the more I want to dig in. Whether it's tracking down a subtle bug under pressure or architecting a large-scale change across a codebase, finding the right solution is what gets me out of bed in the morning.
Professional Experience
Most recently, I spent over three years as a Senior Software Developer at Handel Information Technologies, where I built and maintained enterprise systems using SQL, C#, and .NET. I delivered urgent bug fixes within 24 hours for time-sensitive clients, managed large-scale change orders of 20+ items without sacrificing quality, and built client-facing features in Visual Studio and SQL Server Management Studio. I also gained experience in cybersecurity research, where I developed Python-based exploits for AI frameworks and contributed to both outreach and lab-based research projects.
Collaboration
I believe the best work happens when people bring different perspectives to the table. Throughout my career, I've collaborated with diverse teams to meet deadlines, maintain high standards, and ship reliable software. Whether I'm coordinating with stakeholders on a client deliverable, mentoring students through tough computer science concepts, or leading a volunteer team to plan events, I focus on clear communication and making sure everyone around me can do their best work.
What Drives Me
Complex challenges are where I thrive. I'm at my best when a problem requires both technical depth and creative thinking — debugging a system under real-world pressure, engineering a modular architecture that scales, or finding an elegant solution that nobody else has tried yet. I'm always looking for the next challenge that pushes me to grow as a developer and as a teammate.

Outside of Work
When I'm not writing code, you'll usually find me outdoors. I love snowboarding in the winter and hiking when the weather warms up. I also volunteer in my community — leading a young adult group, captaining a rec-league softball team, and delivering food to families in need. Staying active and staying connected to people keeps me grounded.
